once again, its been a while since i last updated. usual stuff, been too busy to pen my thots down, but here's an update for u guys, esp those overseas whom i miss much :)
i havent actually had the chance to share with the rest of you what i experienced in hk. though putting it down into words now would be doing it injustice. to sum it all up, the breath and depth of my horizons really expanded when i had the chance to meet all these talented individuals on this global competition. it was great knowing that i held my own against them, and that i've so much room and opportunity to grow even further. i felt really lucky to have a chance to be there, let alone getting this opportunity of a lifetime when im in my 2nd year(the rest of the participants were mostly final year students). though it was a bummer that we din manage to win, we got rave reviews on how well we did from the judges, so that was indeed heartening.
the experience has given me new drive and ambitions, and i hope i can live up to my expectations, and not squander my opportunities from a lack of self-disipline.
on top of that, i had SO much FUN when i was there! mixing ard, making new friends, clubbing for 2 consecutive nights.. it was definitely a good break and breather from school, and a gd close to the entire training process.
once i got back, it was suppose to be back to sch work, BUT inna and i were taking part in the Queens Inter-Collegiate Business Competition(ICBC 2007) and we had to rush a written report out by 30Oct, so it was back to 'case prep' again for a while.
fast-fwd to today, Queens has finally been submitted and its really back to the grind for school work. just finished an econs quiz this morning, and its time to start churning out the rest of the other reports and mug for final exams in 4wks.
dragonboat race next weekend, been out of training for most of this term, really need to get back into it.
another potential major project coming up, shall not disclose it yet, but hope the major pitch goes well on monday.
limz has finally left for darwin to begin her career. its pretty surreal when u actually sit down and think about it. not too long ago i was splashing chilli on her in high shool, next moment she's embarking on her life career. though whenever we all get back together, it seems that barely any time has passed btw us. we have full confidence in her, and im looking forward to buying a stake in Tygertel Inc. in bout a decade's time :)
oh yes, charlotte is coming back in december! yay to that, hardly had time to catch her the last time she came back.
and of cos, dear sange is coming back too! i dun care what or who you're coming back with, but u better make time for me! ;p
