hey guys, thanks for sticking ard though an update has been long overdue yea? always strange that when i have things to blog about, i don't blog! haha.. its the 26th apr today, a good 13 days after my exams ended. bout 2 wks since babs' birthday, 4 days before mine *subtle hint* haha..
so much has been happening over the last 2 wks, let me try to keep u guys updated yea?
1. internship
i was offered an internship with this company called e*verest motivation team. you can check out the company at www.everestmotivation.com its run by the CEO, david lim, who led the 1st expedition to mt everest back in 1998. since then, he has become a motivational speaker, and team-building facilitator who's seriously making big bucks. doing an internship with the company is basically being his PA, personal assistant. lots to talk about, but i shall not put it up here (yet), so do ask me if i see u for a meal or something yea.
the great thing was i did get to try to be a trainer/facilitator during one of the corporate team-building sessions. it was a similar to what we've been doing, but on a different level, since its management-level adults we're talking about here. definitely needs a higher level of skills to handle and carry out. but definitely a step in the right direction in this area of interest of mine.
thanks to all who gave me advice prior to this when i was hesitant about taking it up. i started last monday, 17th apr. i didn't plan to do an internship this summer, but i guess its an opportunity that i wldnt want to miss.
2. grades
it hasnt been a fantastic term for me in sch. guess i din balance well enuff or had several unnecessary side issues to deal with that unfortunately took away precious time for studies. disipline wasn't there was well. grades have been coming back one by one, and the words to describe them are sadly disappointing and dismal.
3. cognitare/case
got thrown another business case on last thu and have to present on this thu(tmr). its bout Samsung. pretty interesting, but taking up too much time. something i dun have right now. on the bright side, there are 3 competitions coming up. Bangkok, Hong Kong or Ohio. If you know me, you wld know which one im hoping to go for! haha ;)
4. ana's house!
haha yes! i've been visiting west coast very often these few days. remember the place where we had our 20th farewell? yup! ana's superb house! been going over to give her sis econs tuition, and everything im there, it brings back fond memories of back then :) and i suddenly remembered that i was in the planning comm with kai, enz and babs? someone enlighten me..
5. sri lanka!
yes, if i havent told u, or u havent remembered, i'll be flying off for sri lanka this fri(28/4) for my community service. looking forward to it as a chance to take a break and unwind from all the unpleasant things back here. i need this break man. though it wld be my first birthday abroad.. haha.. doubt i'll be getting much presents there. haha.
