had an action-packed sat once again. the usual training in the morning, i've got my brand new paddle! haha, it now lies proudly beside my sis's hockey stick. we're both getting tanner by the day due to continuous exposure to the sun..
rushed down from training back to sch for SMU's open house. i must say that once again, the marketing and branding is a couple of notches above those other two in the west. i brought my cam, but actually forgot to take pics before i left!! grr.. so many botak heads around asking bout stuff. saw jov at her econs booth and it was kinda deja vu as i remembered jus not too long a year ago when i was there visiting the open house. now i stand as part of my school of business.. (see left) ther's me and ash at our school of business booth.. bright neon blue! haha.. nice :)
open house ended bout six plus, rushed down to newton to get a lift from gnet to head down to the airport to pick luk up. she picked me up at 6.58pm and we reached the airport at 7.10pm.. all through only two songs playing on the radio! good grief.. in the midst of these all, i was hurriedly trying to find out which flight n terminal luk was arriving in.. had absolutely NO clue as to where and when, except that he lands at 7.20pm.. alot of help that is.. after a flurry of calls and some madcap enquiry at the cust service.. we decided to stay put at t1 and wait.. and then i finally saw his parents! haha.. what a relieve..
we waited and waited.. waited so long that even shaun(who was sleeping soundly), and kai(who came from tekong) joined us while we await the grand arrival of lucas luk.. haha.. and boy was he surprised to see us! it was good to see him back too.. and to see the 'extra baggage' that he brought back with him.. lol.. pity he has to fly off in just four days time, but oh well, he's so much nearer this time! must make sure we visit him.. :) had a fantastic dinner at newton with shaun and the NEW gnet.. dun ask me.. go ask her what the new gnet is all about.. ;)
